United Through Sport is a sport for development organization that was started in 2004. Our mission is to help disadvantaged communities reach their full potential through sport, education and health. Our work is focused on serving the communities in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, with satellite programs in Argentina, St. Lucia and Mauritius. United Through Sport reaches our participants through our pathway to success model. We work with youth aged 5 – 35 from impoverished areas in the Nelson Mandela Bay area. The communities that our participants come from experience illness, unemployment, malnutrition, substance abuse, and extreme poverty. Our programs are focused on developing life skills, raising awareness on a variety of social and health issues and helping them access better education opportunities. We are committed to assisting each of our participants on their pathway to success.
